Inspired by Latin American bolero music, Miramar writes original compositions and arrangements further exploring the boundaries within the musical genre. I work as the band leader, arranger and co-composer for Miramar. Miramar has played across the USA, France and did the last sponsored tour of Russia in March 2020. Performance highlights include: NPR’s Tiny Desk, NY’s globalFest and Lincoln Center, Kennedy Center Millenium Stage, Cleveland Art Museum, Standford University, Festival Les Nuits de Fourvière (Lyon, France) and more. Recordings have been released on Daptone Records, Barbes Records and Ansonia Records.
